In the summer of 2023, we successfully completed the structural restoration of a canal-side retaining wall for a factory in the heart of Birmingham. This wall restoration project addressed significant disrepair to the large retaining walls while navigating the complexities of working on a heavily used waterway.

Custom scaffolding and pontoon systems were designed to provide safe access to the site, enabling efficient work in a challenging environment, while preventative measures were implemented to ensure the canal remained unimpeded and free from contamination for the duration of the project.

This refurbishment not only restored the wall’s integrity but also reinforced the importance of environmentally sensitive practices in structural restoration projects, highlighting our ability to deliver complex structural restoration and wall restoration projects.
